Dr Keryn Tighe

Veterinarian

Dr Keryn joined the Belmont Road Vet team in July 2024 and brings a compassionate, holistic approach to veterinary care. Since graduating in 2020, Keryn has developed a keen interest in dermatology, geriatrics, behaviour, and internal medicine, always striving to support pets’ wellbeing across all stages of life.

​

Keryn shares her home with two affectionate domestic medium hair cats, Cinder and Misty, a spotted python named Salazar, and a colourful collection of freshwater aquarium fish.

​

Outside the clinic, you’ll find Keryn immersed in nature—whether it's scuba diving, hiking through the bush, tending to her garden, or perfecting her aquascaping skills.

Dr Cheyenne O'Shea

Veterinarian

Dr Cheyenne joined our team at Central Rochedale Vet Clinic in April 2024. She graduated from the University of Queensland in 2020 and brings her passion for all aspects of veterinary medicine to our clinic. With a comprehensive approach and unwavering dedication, she ensures each patient receives the highest standard of care.

​

Outside of work, Cheyenne loves exploring the outdoors, traveling, and trying new restaurants. Always eager for new adventures and cultures, she embraces every opportunity to learn and grow. At home, she enjoys the company of her two rescue domestic short-haired cats, Smitty and Bean, who fill her life with endless joy and laughter.

Mandy Cartwright

Team Leader & Veterinary Nurse

Amanda has been caring for animals professionally since completing her veterinary nursing studies in 2006, and she joined the Belmont Rd Vet team in December 2024. With a special passion for puppy preschool and senior pet care, Amanda loves helping pets start life on the right paw and ensuring our older companions stay comfortable and happy in their golden years.

​

At home, Amanda’s world revolves around her two dogs: Joe, a lovable 5-year-old chocolate Labrador, and Toby, a cheeky 2-year-old Australian Silky Terrier.

​

When she’s not at the clinic, you’ll likely find Amanda planning her next travel adventure, throwing clay on the pottery wheel, exploring underwater while scuba diving, or simply enjoying long walks with her dogs.

Tori Burton

Veterinary Nurse (on maternity leave)

Tori joined the Belmont Road Vet team in 2023 and has been a dedicated and compassionate nurse since graduating in 2019. She has a particular interest in surgical nursing, critical case management, and providing exceptional support to both clients and their pets.

​

Tori shares her life with three much loved fur babies—Rae, a spirited Blue Heeler x Kelpie; Frankie, a black and white tuxedo cat; and Flame, a ginger tabby.

​

When she’s not in the clinic, Tori loves spending time with her friends, family, and pets. She’s always up for an adventure, whether it’s camping under the stars or travelling around (and outside of) Australia.

Shirley Grillo

Veterinary Nurse

Shirley studied Vet Medicine at the National University of Colombia, and graduated in 2018. After moving to Australia, she started working at Belmont Rd Vet Surgery in May 2025. She is particularly interested in the medical aspects of her work as a veterinary nurse, with an emphasis on reproductive health and reproductive imaging.

​

While Shirley does not have any pets of her own, she is always the first to offer to take care of her friends' pets! Outside of work, she loves going to the beach, listening to podcasts, and doing crochet. She lives a very active life, exercising every day before work. Her favourite ways to exercise are pilates and Latin Dancing (salsa and bachata).

Silvia Ramirez

Veterinary Nurse

Silvia joined the Belmont Road Vet team in 2023 and brings with her a deep love for animals and a strong passion for surgical nursing. Originally from Colombia, Silvia completed her veterinary studies before moving to Australia and transitioning into veterinary nursing. She has a special interest in surgery and enjoys the challenges and satisfaction that come with assisting in complex procedures.

​

At home, Silvia is kept busy by her adorable furry family: Emilia the terrier cross, and her three delightful DSH cats—Masato, Amaranta, and Aurora.

​

When she’s not caring for patients, Silvia enjoys hiking, gardening, travelling, and getting lost in a good book.
